York Institute Ball Field

					This
project utilized grant money from the Baseball Tomorrow
Fund organization, a joint effort between Major League
Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Asssociation to  construct a baseball field at the
York Institute.  Previously there was only one field
available in the county.  This field was utilized by
the Babe Ruth League, men’s softball league, and as a soccer
field.  Scheduling use of the sole field was chaotic and
created significant stress and conflict within the
					community.
A design for the buildings was developed by the building trade's class of York Institute and construction was completed utilizing funds from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund and local, matching funds.
